STEM West: Best Practices, Today and Tomorrow Community Forum

Over 130 participants from across North Carolina participated in networking activities on January 30th, 2020 at The Foundation of the Isothermal Community College. The event was facilitated by Dr. Tom Williams who provided an Affinity session to discuss STEM programming across the region and how to move forward. Participants took advantage of the Exhibition of over 25 STEM programs across the region and the EdCamp type of unconference built around survey results of registrants. Thank you to Mariah Morris, NC BWF Teacher of the Year, Alfred Mays, Dr. Sam Houston, and Dr. Walter Dalton for their support for STEM West and sharing their wisdom with all the attendees. The event was sponsored through a STEMx Grant from Battelle.
